MCNALLY STRUMSTICKS & ACCESSORIES (Standard & Grand Models)
HEY, GOT YOUR STICK? Strumstick, we mean. We sell McNally Strumsticks, and they are the absolute best. The Strumstick is great for people who don't play any music, and are sure they can't play. Standard & Grand Stumsticks
STANDARD STRUMSTICK (Model G-29) This is the original Strumstick. The primary key is G, but it is also tunable down as low as C or up to A. Measures 29 1/2" long, 4" wide, and 1" deep. The body and neck are Padouk (a rich red hardwood from Africa), the soundboard is Spruce, and the back is Maple. The Strumstick has it's own unique sound, bright, clear, and snappy. People say it reminds them of a blend of banjo, dulcimer, and mandolin. Includes a free instruction book and CD. **ONLY $140.00**
ROSETTE STRUMSTICK (Model G-29R) This is exactly the same instrument as the Standard Strumstick described above, but with the addition of an inlaid decorative rosette at the soundhole. The sound is the same, the rosette is decorative only. There are currently 6 different rosette designs to choose from; Moon & Stars, Stars & Dots, Stars & Triangles, Lightning, Saturn, or Heart with Star (see designs below). **ONLY $150.00**
GRAND STRUMSTICK (Model D-33) The Grand Strumstick is in a different pitch range, with a different sonority. The Grand plays the same way as the Standard, but is pitched lower. The Grand is more resonant and richer sounding. It measures 33" long, 5" wide, and 1" deep. The woods are Padouk for the neck and body, Spruce for the soundboard, and Maple for the back. The primary key is D, but it can also be tuned down to a G (an octave below the Standard Strumstick) or up to a higher G (same as the Standard Strumstick. Useable keys are G, G#, A, A#, B, C, C#, D, D#, E, F, F#, and G'. Includes a Free instruction book and CD. The Grand Strumstick comes with an inlay Rosette that surrounds the soundhole. There are 6 different rosette designs to choose from; Moon & Stars, Stars & Dots, Stars & Triangles, Lightning, Saturn, or Heart with Star (same as the Rosette Strumstick). **ONLY $170.00**

STRUMSTICK CASES Soft Padded Cases are made of a coated waterproofed material. All have adjustable straps, a pocket for strings under the flap, and a velcro closure. Generally, the Standard Strumstick cases are Tan and the Grand Strumstick cases are Green. However, there are no choices for color, and the colors may vary. **ONLY $20.00**
 
STRUMSTICK ELECTRONIC TUNER (Model ELT) This delightful little tuner listens to your strings, and tells you what notes they are, and whether they are sharp, flat, or right on. It spring clamps right on the peghead, has a bright backlight, and shuts itself off if you forget. It also works great on guitars. The Strumstick is not hard to tune by ear, but this tuner is a great help in noisy environments, or if you are just starting out. It will actually help you learn to tune if you listen closely while you use it; you hear the note change as you are adjusting it; that is direct ear training that is very good for you. The tuner will help you get used to hearing the sound of the strings in their correct pitch relationship. It is a chromatic (all notes) tuner, so you can use it to tune any instrument. **ONLY $35.00**
STRUMSTICK REPLACEMENT STRINGS (Model STR) The Strings are loop end (like banjo or mandolin), .023 wound, .014 plain, .010 plain. These strings work for both the Standard and Grand Strumsticks. **ONLY $6.00**
BLACK MOUNTAIN DULCIMERS & ACCESSORIES (**HANDMADE UPON ORDERING**)
The Appalachian Dulcimer (or Mountain Dulcimer) dates back to the early 1800s. It was developed from similarly designd Medieval European instruments, in the zither family. The dulcimer first appeard in the Southern Appalachian Mountains, thus the reference "mountain" dulcimer. Today the dulcimer has become one of the most recognizable and popular folk instruments in the United States. Being a Black Mountain Dulcimer dealer, like hundreds of people before, you will thoroughly enjoy the ease of learning this fine traditional instrument and the wonderful music YOU will make. **AS BLACK MOUNTAIN DULCIMERS ARE HANDMADE UPON ORDERING, PLEASE ALLOW 2-4 WEEKS FOR DELIVERY**
STARMAKER DULCIMER (Model 26) This full sized, mahogany ply instrument is a fabulous beginner's dulcimer. Solid mahogany fingerboard/head with nickel silver frets, Luan Mahogany ply top, sides and back, four strings with geared tuners — you'll be pickin' like a star in no time. 25.88" Scale, 31" length, 2.63" deep, 7" wide. SWEET BETSEY (Model 36) The Model #36 features a solid spruce top, the same type of soundboard wood used by Stradivarius violins and Steinway pianos. The back and sides are built with mahogany ply, the solid mahogany fingerboard/head has nickel-silver frets and four geared tuners. 25.88" Scale, 31" length, 2.63" deep, 7.5" wide. This is a fine sounding, easy playing instrument at an affordable price. Available with Heart Soundholes as shown, or “Multi-Dot” Soundholes. **ONLY $167.00**
OLD STANDBY DULCIMER (Model 56) This was one of the first Black Mountain Dulcimers models - and for a time in the mid 70´s - the only model being made. It is the real “Old Standby” of Black Mountain dulcimers. Sounds great, looks great, doesn´t cost a fortune. The Model 56 has been hand built continuously since 1972 with only a few minor changes over the years — IT WORKS. All solid wood construction, Luan Mahogany sides and back, spruce top, carved scroll shaped head, rosewood nut and saddle. Mahogany fingerboard has nickel-silver frets and four deluxe chrome geared tuners. 25.88" Scale, 32" length, 2.63" deep, 7.5" wide. **ONLY $212.00**
DELUXE (Model 58D) If you want a dulcimer with a touch of elegance, this is it. All solid wood construction, Cherry sides, bookmatched Cherry back with Rosewood stripe, carved scroll shaped cherry head, Redwood top, Rosewood fingerboard with Mother-of Pearl dots, nickel-silver frets and four deluxe chrome geared tuners. PAPER TUNE DULCIMER These are ideal for groups, beginners or children. The body of the Paper Tune Dulcimers are formed out of a recycled wood product and made into a resonant, 200 pound tested cardboard. The Mahogany fingerboards and heads have nickel/silver frets and mechanical tuning machines. These dulcimers are three-stringed instruments. The Paper Tune Dulcimers sound surprisingly good and they're a terrific teaching tool. Length, width, and depth are 31" x 8" x 2 3/4". Scale length is 25 7/8". **ONLY $74.00**
DULCIMER GIG BAG (Case) The case measures 33" x 11" and is made from heavy nylon with foam padding and a no scratch lining with reinforced peghead area. WORKSHOPS Our workshops are generally $300.00 per group, or ONLY $15.00 per person for a 2 hour workshop. These fees vary and are adjustable to fit the needs of your group. Our dulcimer workshop includes a dulcimer kit, dulcimer music book, CD, student dulcimer, and information on how to start your own dulcimer group.
